Class: The Ruffle Brunch Pant with Loren, starts Tuesday September 9, 5:30-8:30PM (3 sessions)

One of our favorite pants of the summer-- and now the fall! 

Come sew the Ruffle Brunch Pants with Loren! This is a perfectly simple elastic-waist pant pattern with inseam pockets and the option to add the ruffle at the bottom. These pants are super comfy, and work as a great basic that you can wear out of the house or just lounge around in. 

Take a look at the pictures or look at #rufflebrunch set on social media to get inspiration for your pants! If ruffles aren't your thing, you can always omit the ruffle on the bottom of the pant and lengthen the pant to your desired length. 

Skill Level: Advancing Beginner. You need to have sewn a garment, quilt, bag or participated in a beginner sewing class prior to this class and feel comfortable using your machine.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to sew a grown-on elastic waistband 
• How to sew inseam pockets 
• How to shorten/lengthen pants as you sew them
• How to adjust the rise of pants (if you'd like) 
• & more!

Class Fee: The cost of this class is $253. The cost of instruction is $225 and the materials fee (required) is $28 and includes the includes the printed PDF pattern and elastic. 

Class Schedule: This is a three session class, meeting on Tuesdays September 9, 16, & 23 from 5:30-8:30PM. 

Sizing + Fabric Requirements: See the chart in photos for the sizing guide and fabric requirements. 

Fabric Recommendations: Brussels Washer (solid or yarn dyed), Jubilee cotton, light-medium weight linen, any Fableism fabric, cotton chambray, cotton-linen blends

What to Bring:

• Prewashed fabric (see chart in photos for fabric requirements) 
• Coordinating thread
  
• Sewing machine with basic accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc.). Bringing your own machine is encouraged, but studio machines are available—please reach out to info@lakemakerie.com to reserve one after you register for class. Machines are limited. 
  

Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 4 registered students to hold the class. (If we do not hold the class you will be refunded). If you need to cancel later than 1 week before class is held, you will receive store credit.
