Class: The Carrier Bag with Jenny

Come make the Merchant & Mills Carrier Bag with Jenny! 

Skill Level: This class is perfect for confident beginners who have basic sewing skills, including threading your machine, sewing straight lines, and back-tacking. If you’re new to bag-making or want to expand your skills, this class is a great next step! If you’re completely new to sewing, we recommend starting with one of our introductory classes first, such as Meet Your Machine or Reversible Napkins. 

Class Fee: The cost of this class is $88. The cost of instruction is $75 and the materials fee (required) is $13 and includes the printed pattern and use of studio tools. We'll ring you up for the kit fee when you come in to class. :)

What to Bring:

• Main fabric: 3/4 yd & lining fabric: 3/4 yd 
• Thread
• Sewing machine with basic accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc.). Bringing your own machine is encouraged, but studio machines are available—please reach out to info@lakemakerie.com to reserve one after you register for class. Machines are limited. 
  
• Optional: Anything you find helpful when sewing at home!

Finished Bag Measurements: Length - 55.8cm/22" & Width - 31.2cm/12¼"

Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 4 students to hold the class (if we're not able to run this class you'll be refunded). If you need to cancel within 1 week of the class, you will receive store credit.
