Class: Sew the Ballet Bow Skirt with Jenny, Starts December 9th, 11AM-2PM (2 sessions)

Come sew a perfect holiday skirt with Jenny! 

A perfect class if you have some basic knowledge of machine sewing and would like to begin or continue your garment sewing journey! Skills that will be taught are: cutting out a pattern, sewing a hem, applying an elastic waistband, making ties, and more! Sizes XXS-6XL available. 

Skill Level: This class is suitable to advancing beginners and above. You need to have sewn a garment, quilt, bag or participated in a beginner sewing class prior to this class and feel comfortable using your machine. Prior garment sewing experience is helpful but not necessary. There may be some homework for this class between sessions. 

Class Structure: This is a two session class on Tuesdays 12/9 & 12/16 from 11AM-2PM. 

Class Fee: The cost of this class is $150. 

Sizing + Fabric Requirements: This patterns includes sizes XXS-6XL. See the chart in photos for sizing details and fabric requirements.  

What to Bring: 

• Prewashed, dried and ironed fabric. Light to medium weight fabric is great for this project! Suggested fabrics are Brussels Washer, 100% linen such as Merchant and Mills Linen, Lady McElroy California Linen, any Fableism fabric, cotton flannel, cotton shirting, and other light-medium weight cotton and cotton blends! 
• Coordinating thread
• Sewing machine with basic accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc.). Bringing your own machine is encouraged, but studio machines are available—please reach out to info@lakemakerie.com to reserve one after you register for class. Machines are limited.
• Basic tools (such as pins, marking tools, etc.) are provided in our studio for students. We do recommend that you bring your own pair of fabric scissors if you have them. 

Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 4 students to hold the class (if we're not able to run this class you'll be refunded). If you need to cancel within 1 week of the class, you will received store credit.
