Class: Sew a Patchwork Potholder with Sarah, Saturday November 22, 9-11AM
Learn to sew this adorable patchwork potholder with Sarah! This is an ideal project for turning treasured scraps into something you'll be able to use daily.
For this class, we'll provide all the scraps for you to make your potholder (along with batting, Insulbright, and thread)!
Skill Level: Beginner. You need to be able to sew a straight line, back tack, sew a zig zag, thread & unjam your machine, and wind your bobbin. The equivalent of taking our “Meet Your Machine” class.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to use the "quilt as you go" method to make adorable patchwork projects
- How to use Insulbright batting to make heat-safe potholders
- Other tips for both beginning sewists and sewists looking to brush up on foundational skills
Class Fee: The cost of this class is $70 includes all the materials you'll need to make your potholder, as well as the pattern.
What to Bring:

Sewing machine with basic accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc.). Bringing your own machine is encouraged, but studio machines are available—please reach out to info@lakesmakerie.com to reserve one after you register for class. Machines are limited.
Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 4 registered students to hold the class. (If we do not hold the class you will be refunded). If you need to cancel later than 1 week before class is held, you will receive store credit.
