Class: Meet your Machine with Sarah & Lucie, Sunday September 28, 1-3PM

Did you just get a new sewing machine or have one sitting around that you'd like to become friends with? This class is designed to answer any questions you may have! 

Skill Level: No prior sewing machine experience is required. Just bring in your machine and we will help you become acquainted and feel confident as you start your sewing journey. 

*Only basic home sewing machines, please no serger machines

If the machine is older and has been sitting for a while, please consider getting it serviced before this class to avoid mechanical issues with the machine! We recommend Creative Sewing in Minnetonka-- or any of their locations! 

What You'll Learn: The goal of this class is to teach you everything you need to feel confident going into a basic sewing project with your machine! 

• How to thread your machine, wind your bobbin, and change your needle 
• How to start sewing! 
• Stitch selection 
• Back-tacking 
• Pivoting 
• Zig-zag stitch 
• And more advice on tools we like, tricks we've learned about different machines, and projects we'd recommend starting with

Class Schedule: This class includes an hour and a half of more structured teaching time and half an hour of time of you to play around on your machine and practice your new skills! 

What to Bring:

• Sewing machine with accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin)
• Machine Manual
• Thread

Cancellation Policies: 

We require a minimum of 4 students to hold the class (if we're not able to run this class you'll be refunded). If you need to cancel within 1 week of the class, you will received store credit.
