Little girl pattern for ages 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 years. A charmingly simple interpretation of our Trapeze dress with a huge amount of swish factor.

The Trapezette is simple to make with a single button back neck opening and rouleau loop and fully faced armholes and neck for small people comfort.

 

This is a digital PDF pattern that includes sizes for ages 3-8. 

 

Skill Level: Beginner 

 

For sizing, finished garment measurements, and fabric requirements, see the charts in photos.  

 

Fabric Suggestions: Light to medium weight wovens such as linen, soft denim chambray and fine cord. Soft wools and tweeds are also suitable for colder climates.

 

You'll Also Need: 

  • Matching thread.
  • Lining for the facings like a muslin (or self fabric if using something lightweight like cotton or linen).
  • Small Button x 1.

Delivery Details: This is a digital sewing pattern, not a physical copy.


When you purchase this pattern, you can download the PDF files from the order confirmation screen. You will also receive an email from SendOwl with a link to download the pattern. 


To receive a printed copy of this PDF pattern, select “Digital PDF Pattern + Large Format Printing.” We'll print the pattern out on our large format printer ($3.50/page). We are happy to ship the pattern to you or set it aside for in store pickup. Your pattern will be folded for shipping or rolled for local pickup. 


We do not print pattern instructions, only the large format pattern pages. You can print the instructions at home on US printer paper if you'd like (or just view them from your device).

Awesome, better with pockets

Very fun dress. Would be better with pockets- what kid doesn't want those? Also, hemline and lining hems benefit from bias tape for smoothness.
