Come sew the Boxer Bow Shorts from Matchy Matchy Sewing Club with Jenny! These shorts are the perfect for hot summer days when you still want to look cute. :)

These basic, breezy shorts are inspired by traditional boxers with a straight fit. The pattern includes two views, mid rise and high rise, both with a 3" (8 cm) and 5" (13 cm) inseam. Finished with small side slits and sweet bows, these comfortable elastic waist shorts are sure to keep you feeling cool and relaxed in and out of the house.

Class Difficulty: This is a beginner-friendly class. You need to be able to thread your machine, straight stitch, and back tack. If you've never done those things before, check out our Meet Your Machine class first! No previous garment sewing is required.

What You'll Learn:
  • Good practices for cutting out garment pieces
  • Basic topstitching
  • How to sew a garment with a slit
  • How to sew an elastic waistband
Class Fee: The cost of this class is $160. The cost of instruction is $140 and the materials fee (required) is $20 and includes the printed PDF pattern, the PDF files for your future use, and elastic for your waistband.

Class Structure: This is a two session class that runs Saturdays July 26 and August 2 from 9AM-12PM. There may be a small homework assignment between sessions.
