*We are available during shop hours to answer any basic sizing and fabric questions. Loren can also help you decide between specific sizes during the first class. When in doubt, get enough fabric for the largest size you're considering.

Fabric Recommendations:

Merchant & Mills recommends light weight wovens such as linen, chambray, seersucker, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, tencel and indian handlooms. They also say to avoid linen that is too heavy as with the gathers this could be too weighty.

Suggested fabrics from our shop are Merchant & Mills seersucker, Indian block print cottons, any Fableism fabric, cotton chambray, Jubilee cotton, light-medium weight linen, Japanese lawn, and Liberty lawn
