Almost long trousers pattern can really change style depending on fabric choice - from office cool to loungewear. These pants have a relaxed fit, positioned at the lower waist, and dropped crotch. The leg tapers to the ankle, waistband and bottom cuffs are elasticated. The trousers feature in-seam pockets.

Two size ranges:
XS/S/M/L  or XL/2XL/3XL

Fabric needed:

140-150 cm fabric width

XS 1.3 m / S 1.4 m / M 1.5 m / L 1.6 m / XL 1.9 m / 2XL 2.0 m / 3XL 2.1 m

Suggested fabrics are mid to heavyweight fabrics such as denim, cotton twill, lightweight canvas.

You will also need:

  • Matching thread
  • Elastic tape width 50 mm, XS 1.4 m / S 1.6 m / M 1.7 m / L 1.9 m / XL 2.0 m / 2XL 2.1 m / 3XL 2.3 m
  • Fusible interfacing

If you wish to adjust the relaxed waist you can choose to add more or less elastic tape. Just remember that the waist has to be wide enough to be pulled over your seat when putting the trousers on. 

You can easily shorten or lengthen the pattern, make the adjustment at knee height.
