Named Clothing, Shadi Pencil Skirt PDF Pattern

Shadi is as simple as a skirt can possibly be. The stretch fabric and elasticated waistband make this high-waisted pencil skirt super easy to sew, fit and wear. The skirt can be sewn either knee-length or ankle-length with a deep side slit. 

This is a digital PDF pattern that includes sizes EUR 23-56 / US 0-24 / UK 4-28.

Materials & Supplies:

Short skirt: 

• Knit fabric, see fabric requirements
  
• Sizes 32–42: Fusible knit interfacing, 15 cm (1/8 yd)
• Sizes 44–56: Fusible knit interfacing, 30 cm (3/8 yd)
• 4 cm (1 5/8”) elastic, your waist circumference

Long skirt:

• Knit fabric, see fabric requirements
• Fusible knit interfacing, 50 cm (1/2 yd)
• 4 cm (1 5/8”) elastic, your waist circumference

Fabric Suggestions: Select a stable, medium weight knit fabric with a stretch percentage of 40 to 50%. Choose a fabric with good recovery, such as ponte or rib knit. Make sure that also your interfacing has at least 40 % stretch.

When you purchase this pattern, you can download the PDF files from the order confirmation screen. You will also receive an email with a link to download the pattern. 

To receive a printed copy of this PDF pattern, select “Digital PDF Pattern + Large Format Printing.” We'll print the pattern out on our large format printer ($3.50/page). We are happy to ship the pattern to you or set it aside for in store pickup. Your pattern will be folded for shipping or rolled for local pickup. 

We do not print pattern instructions, only the large format pattern pages. You can print the instructions at home on US printer paper if you'd like (or just view them from your device).
