Pattern Notcher
The tool you didn't know you need until you try it. We first tried one out at a workshop at Merchant & Mills and it'e really quite genius.
Use this to punch out little uniform rectangular notches at the edge of cut patterns so you can easily mark your fabric with chalk or pencil. This process saves time and also seemed to prevent us from missing notches that would require us to get out the pattern pieces again during the construction process (never fun). Plus, you can pretend you're the conductor (Tom Hanks) in Polar Express when you're cutting them out!
