A classic trapper hat, featuring buttoned up ear covers.

Suitable for both kids and adults - please check the size chart for the measurements.

This is a digital PDF pattern that includes sizes 2XS-3XL.

Skill Level: Intermediate

For finished garment measurements and fabric requirements see the chart in photos.  

Main Fabric Suggestions: Oilskin, dry oilskin, mid weight cotton canvas or drill, corduroy, mid weight denim (8-14oz) & wool coating. 

Lining Suggestions: Sherpa, flannel, mid weight 3-6oz cotton.

You'll Also Need: 

• Matching thread
• 20CM/8" linen/cotton for buttonhole tape
• Optional: 0.3M/0.5YD interfacing

Delivery Details: This is a digital sewing pattern, not a physical copy.

When you purchase this pattern, you can download the PDF files from the order confirmation screen. You will also receive an email from SendOwl with a link to download the pattern. 

To receive a printed copy of this PDF pattern, select “Digital PDF Pattern + Large Format Printing.” We'll print the pattern out on our large format printer ($3.50/page). We are happy to ship the pattern to you or set it aside for in store pickup. Your pattern will be folded for shipping or rolled for local pickup. 

We do not print pattern instructions, only the large format pattern pages. You can print the instructions at home on US printer paper if you'd like (or just view them from your device).
