Merchant & Mills, The Francli Day Pack PDF Pattern
A practical day pack designed by Francli Craftwear. Play with hardy fabrics and unique Merchant & Mills hardware to create a bespoke pack for everyday life and adventures further afield. With water bottle pockets and internal laptop pocket.
This is a digital PDF pattern.
Skill Level: Intermediate
For finished bag measurements and fabric requirements see the charts in photos.
Fabric Suggestions: Oilskin, dry oilskin, mid-heavy weight cotton canvas or drill, mid weight denim (8-14oz).
There are 3 different fabric parts to the bag, the contrast (bottom and back piece), the lining and the main fabric of the bag. You can go a little heavier for the contrast fabric as you’ll be putting this down on the floor potentially and the back piece will have wear and tear against your back!
You'll Also Need:
- Matching thread
- 4 x 2.5CM / 1" ladder locks
- 2 x 2.5CM / 1" G hooks
- 4.6M / 5YD x 2.5CM / 1" webbing.
- 2 x 30CM / 12" zip
- 1.2M / 1.5YD cord.
- 1 x cord lock (optional)
- 2 x cord stops (optional)
- Wadding (batting) - see fabric requirements chart.
