by Carolyn N.K. Denham, Merchant & Mills, Rye England
Traditional overalls (in the U.S.) or dungarees (in the UK) with all the expected details and lots of (optional) topstitching.
Skill level – intermediate. This make is a bit more involved with lots of pieces and details...though none of the techniques required for t he construction soon
This is a traditional paper pattern. Choose between sizes UK 6 – 18 and UK 18-28.
You can find instructions for hacking Harlene to fit a man here.
Suggested fabrics – medium weight woven cloth, 8 – 11 oz denim, cotton canvas, cotton drill, corduroy, yarn dyed linen. If you are using a thick fabric you may decide to cut the waistband and button fly pieces out of a thinner fabric to reduce bulk.
