Merchant & Mills, European Laundered Linen, "Calamine", 1/4 yard
European laundered linen, tumbled at the mill for softness. This is a dusky lilac/pink shade. We find some people see this as pink and some more lilac.
This linen has an enzyme wash, this gives it a slightly distressed finish. It is dyed with a wash out dye which means it will gradually lose colour over time.
100% European linen, 185 gsm ( 5.5 oz./square yard), 143 cm (56") wide.
Bonus: This fabric comes pre-washed, so it's ready to sew!
This linen is produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric. Made by a mill who uses electricity supplied solely from renewable energy sources and OEKO Tex certified.
Care Instructions:
- Wash at <80o F with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry. Shake out and dry flat. Linen will always stiffen after washing but as soon as you start to use/wear it the fibres relax again.
- If you are using this linen for curtains we recommend using a lining to prevent fading.

Price listed is per quarter yard (9" linear), please order in multiples for desired total yardage (example: for 1/2 yard enter "2" for quantity, for 1 1/2 yards enter "6" for quantity). Fabric will be shipped in contiguous, uncut yardage unless otherwise requested.
