Liberty Tana Lawn Cotton Fabric, "Ianthe Mono", 1/4 yard
Tana Pigment Vol 1 is a collection that seamlessly blends contemporary style with timeless elegance. With a focus on tone-on-tone aesthetics, each design is crafted with sophistical in mind, offering a fresh perspective on a selection of Liberty's most loved prints. This is Ianthe Mono in dark blue on dark blue print.
Ianthe was created by well-known French Art Nouveau designer R. Beauclair in approximately 1900, and was later redrawn by David Haward’s Studio. Ianthe is Greek for purple or violet flowers, suggesting that the flowers in the design may have originally been drawn from violets.
