Daughter Judy, Adams Pant PDF Pattern

The Adams are the pant you throw on when you don't know what the day holds. Daughter Judy's take on the classic painter pant, they're relaxed with an easy fit and just the right amount of structure. The large front pockets can handle your keys, phone and wallet leaving the darted back pockets open for whatever else you may need to carry. Choose between a zipper or buttons for the front fly closure. If you can't decide between them you may just need to make two pairs, one with each option. These can easily be sized down for a closer fit or add a tab and buckle at the back waist.

Daughter Judy patterns come in PDF format for use at home, copy shop or projecting with both size ranges included. The DD range comes in sizes 0-20 and the JJ range comes in sizes 16-34.

Fabric Recommendations: This pattern was created for mid to heavy weight woven fabric; denim/twill/canvas for a more structured look or poplin/viscose/ tencel/textured cotton for a more relaxed look.

• Buttons: x1, 3/4" (18mm/30L) for zipper fly option, x1, 3/4" (18mm/30L) and x4 5/8" (17mm/24L) for button fly option 
• Zipper Fly Option: Zipper x1, 6" (15cm) DD sizes / x1, 7" (18cm) JJ sizes 
• All purpose thread in matching color
• Heavyweight topstitching thread (optional) 
• Light weight interfacing 1/2 yd (.5 m)
• Pocket lining 1/2 yd (.5 m)
• Needles : Denim / Heavy 90/14 or 100/16 or appropriate for fabric
• Marking tool
• Zipper foot
• Edgestitch foot, 1/8", 3/8" (optional)
• Hammer & Awl (optional)

We are happy to ship the pattern to you or set it aside for in store pickup. Your pattern will be folded for shipping or rolled for local pickup. 

We do not print pattern instructions, only the large format pattern pages. You can print the instructions at home on US printer paper if you'd like (or just view them from your device).
