Merchant & Mills, September Coat PDF Pattern, two size ranges

Overcoat meets duster. A coat for striding through town and country with purpose.

Choose to make either lined or unlined. The September works for a variety of seasons, in oilskin or wool it can be a proper winter coat, or in linen it feels like a casual throw on.

This is a multi-size PDF pattern in two sizes UK 6 – 18, and UK 18-28

The PDF file offers two versions of the pattern: a tiled copy (45 x A4 pages, compatible with US printer paper) and an A0 copy (36 x 48" pages). Detailed instructions are included as well.

If you would like us to print your new PDF pattern on our large format printer ($3/page), select the appropriate variant. We print only the A0 pages in the file (not the tiled pages or the instructions). Choose shipping ($8.95) or local pick up when you check out. 

Suggested fabrics – Dry oilskin, oilskin, mid – heavyweight linens, 7 – 12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. A heavier weight cloth will result in a more structured coat. For the lining, we’d suggest usng Barrier Lining if you are using oilskin. You could also use cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, hemp/cotton, lightweight wools or a traditional slip lining.
