Wardrobe By Me, Cocoon Coat PDF Pattern

The Cocoon Coat is a fully lined women’s coat featuring a sculptural cocoon silhouette, raglan sleeves, and a classic shawl collar. This oversized coat has a two-button front closure, generous patch pockets, and a curved back yoke seam that enhances the architectural shape. Designed for medium- to heavy-weight woven coating fabrics such as wool or wool blends, the Cocoon Coat creates a statement outerwear piece for fall and winter. 

This is a digital PDF pattern that includes sizes XS-4XL. 

Skill Level: 4/4. This coat sewing pattern is an advanced project. Expect extensive pressing throughout and a small amount of hand sewing for a clean finish.

What You'll Need: 

• Main fabric (medium- to heavy-weight woven coating fabrics such as 100% wool or wool blends)
• Lining (a soft slippery woven lining in viscose or polyester) 
• Fusible interfacing 
• Thread
• 2 (3) buttons, 3/4”–1” (2–2.5 cm) diameter

To receive a printed copy of this PDF pattern, select “Digital PDF Pattern + Large Format Printing.” We'll print the pattern out on our large format printer ($3.50/page). We are happy to ship the pattern to you or set it aside for in store pickup. Your pattern will be folded for shipping or rolled for local pickup. 

We do not print pattern instructions, only the large format pattern pages. You can print the instructions at home on US printer paper if you'd like (or just view them from your device).
