Class: Hem Your Tees with Flatlock (Serger) Stitch with Kristin, Saturday July 18, 1:30-3:30PM

Is your closet full of tees that are too long? Do you want a hem that stretches with the knit? Do you want to go beyond finishing raw edges with your serger? As long as you know how to thread your machine, this is your class :)

Skill Level: Need to know how to thread your serger or taken Basic Sergery from Material Girls

What You'll Learn: 

• How to set up serger for flatlock stitch
• Tips and tricks when flatlocking
• How to hem a tee shirt with the flatlock stitch
• Other applications for the flatlock stitch

Supply List: 

• Serger, manual, foot control and any accessories
• One or more tee shirts that you would like to hem
• Contrasting or matching thread for the tees to be hemmed (you will need three serger cones or spools but only one of the threads will show on the outside of tee)
• Pins, scissors, seam ripper, 6” ruler (longer is fine too)

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel within 1 week of the class, you will receive store credit. This class is limited to 6 students.
