Wooden Tailor's Clapper, Medium or Small
Handmade from oak by Jackson's Woodworks, a small, Indiana-based family owned business in , the Tailor's Clapper is a must for making crisp seams when ironing wool, denim or other heavyweight fabrics, especially useful when making jeans. TO use the clapper , press the seam with steam, and then press the area with the clapper as it cools, it will leave a nice crisp seam. Both sides have routed grooves to offer easy handling and is unfinished to absorb the steam better. This is a natural unfinished hardwood, so color will vary slightly.
