Class: Beginners Quilting Skills Series with Grace (piecing, basting, and binding), Starts Tuesday May 7, 12 - 3 pm

Make your first quilt series: Learn the fundamentals of piecing to make a very fun and beautiful baby quilt top. You'll learn to cut fabric, sew a 1/4 inch seam, press your quilt blocks, and enjoy the process of playing with color. You can select your own fabrics for a completely custom quilt or use pre-cut 5" squares.
- Piecing classes (First Class) will focus on learning how to cut out fabric accurately and create simple patchwork, including a beautiful star block.
- Basting classes (Second Class) will cover how to effectively baste your "quilt sandwich" for happy quilting.
- Binding Classes (Third Class) will cover how to square up your quilt, hand bind, and machine bind your beautiful quilt.
Classes are on an A La Carte basis, class fee per class is $80 and includes pre-cut 5" squares.
What to bring:
- coordinating or contrasting thread
- Basic tools are provided in our studio for students. However, feel free to bring you own tools for your personal use if desired.
- Machine + accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc)
- Machine Manual
We will require a minimum of 4 registered students to hold the class. (If we do not hold the class you will be refunded). If you need to cancel later than 1 week before class is held, you will receive store credit.
