Please note that there are no classes currently scheduled for 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to gathering again when circumstances change. Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on Instagram and we'll keep you posted!
Bias binding makes such a nice, neat finish for necklines and armscyes on garments but also on bags (like the Grainline Stowe) or on these Tana lawn-trimmed waffle washcloths. We'll show you our tricks for making bias binding and three different ways to apply it. In the process you'll get practice and make a sweet set of washcloths to give or to keep. We'll provide the waffle cloth, cutting mats and irons.
Additional supplies: 1/2 yard of cotton lawn fabric (we choose Liberty Tana lawn), coordinating thread, a sharp rotary cutter, and a 25mm (one inch double fold) bias tape maker. All of these are available for purchase in the shop. If you would like to use one of our sewing machines, please let us know.
