Jackson Chambray- Graphite, 1/2 yard
Chambray (originally Cambric c 1500) is a plain weave fabric with colored thread in the warp (running vertically), and white threads in the weft (running horizontally), this results in the characteristic white fringe on the selvedge edge. Chambray was traditionally made with indigo and white threads, which when combined result in the characteristic textured light blue.
This chambray has black threads in the warp, which when combined with the white weft. threads results in a medium grey, textured fabric
