Class: Embroidery on Toile, Thursday May 5, 2022, 6:30-8:30
Fable toile with bunnies and squirrels cavorting among the flowers and foliage is one of our all time favorite fabrics. In this class we will learn long-short stitch, chain stitch, blanket stitch, stem stitch, satin stitch and French knots as we decorate toile fabric with as much detail as we want. You can be done at the end of the class, or take your piece home and continue to embroider to your heart's content.
This class is beginner friendly! We would like to do this as as in person class at the shop, but plan B will be a zoom class. If you would be interested in a zoom version of this class on another date, please reach out
Class Fee $65
Includes all materials: Fat Quarter of Rifle Paper Co. Wildwood Fable Linen/Cotton Canvas (choose grey or green), coordinating Perle cottons and floss, hoop and embroidery needle. You can bring your own scissors or borrow ours.
Registration closes on Tuesday April 5. Cancellations after this date will receive store credit. We will require a minimum of 5 registered students to hold the class. (If we do not hold the class you will be refunded)
We respectfully request that in-person class participants are vaccinated/boosted for Covid-19. We will not require proof of vaccination. Masking requirements will be based on local case positivity rates. You always have the option to wear a mask.
If you want to make your fabric into a bag like ours, you will need the Side Handle Gusset Tote pattern, an extra fat quarter of fabric and to plan your embroidery accordingly then, you can join us for a class to make your own bag.
