Tools of the Trade: Tailor's Ham and Sausage with Kim, Sunday Morning, March 5, 2023, 10:00 AM-1:00PM
Otherwise known as "Sewing Charcuterie"... In this fun class you will make your own tailors ham and sausage sleeve roll, both old and traditional tailor's tools. Then you'll learn how to use them when pressing your handmade projects to achieve beautiful results. We always say "sewing is really more than 50% pressing" and it really is true.
Prior to the class you will need to choose 2 fat quarters of fabric one cotton+one wool, or one cotton+one flannel, or two of cotton. We will provide muslin, thread pattern paper, and pine shavings to complete the project. Class price includes $9.00 kit fee.
Sarah's samples pictured were made with Rifle quilting cotton and cotton gingham.
