Class: Sew Three Zipper Pouches with Evan! Thursday January 30, 5:30-8:30PM

In this class, you’ll learn to sew:

    •    A standard flat pouch
    •    A 3D pouch with a bottom gusset
    •    A foldable dopp kit

These projects are beginner-friendly, using the same foundational techniques for all three pouches.

This class is perfect for confident beginners. You do need to be able to thread, rethread, and unjam your machine; sew straight lines; and back tack to take this class. We don't recommend this as a first project-- check out our Meet your Machine, napkins, or pillow case classes instead! 

 By the end of class, you’ll have a trio of beautiful pouches and the confidence to make more on your own. :)

The cost of this class is $105. The cost of instruction is $80 and the materials fee (required) is $25 and includes the patterns (designed by Evan), fabric, thread, and zippers. 

What’s included:
    •    Fabric, thread, and nylon coil zippers for all three pouches
    •    Step-by-step instructions to recreate these projects at home

What to bring:
    •    Sewing machine with zipper foot and accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc.)
    •    Basic tools are provided in our studio that you're free to use. We strongly encourage you to bring your own scissors. 

We recommend bringing your own machine to learn on the one you’ll use at home! Studio machines are also available. Machines are limited, so please reach out to info@lakemakerie.com to reserve one.
