Class: Intro Free Motion Machine Quilting with Grace: Monday November 25, 12-3 pm

Join Grace Martin to learn several techniques to quilt your quilt tops with your home machine. You'll gain the confidence to finish your quilts yourself! Grace will teach straight-line quilting using a walking foot, decorative stitches, as well as her favorite technique -- free motion quilting. Grace's free motion quilting (FMQ) style uses free-form leaves and flowers for an all-over design that's fun, easy, and embraces the beauty of imperfections. If you're thinking of making a quilt coat this winter, This class is for you! 

What to Bring:

- Machine + accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc)

- Basic tools are provided in our studio for students. However, feel free to bring you own tools for your personal use. 

We recommend bringing your own machine so you can continue to learn the ins and outs of sewing on your home machine! If you need, we offer studio machines to use upon request. Machines are limited. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@lakesmakerie.com for more info.

Instruction fee is $75, kit fee is $25, for a total class cost of $100

If you need to cancel later than 1 week before class is held, you will receive store credit.
