Sew a zipper pouch with Sarah!
Zippers pouches are useful for storing and organizing all the "thisses and thats" that life accumulates. I especially like them to keep my projects contained and portable. They also make a sweet way to present a gift. You may not believe this, but zippers and linings are super easy to sew! (trust me). You'll learn two easy ways to insert zippers and leave with instructions to make more pouches when you get home. Instructions, fabric, thread, and nylon coil zippers are provided.
This is a beginner friendly project, prior sewing machine experience helpful, but not required.
Cost of instruction and materials is $65.
What to bring:
- Zipper foot
- Machine + accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc)
- Basic tools are provided in our studio for students. However, feel free to bring you own tools for your personal use.
We recommend bringing your own machine so you can continue to learn the ins and outs of sewing on your home machine! If you need, we offer studio machines to use upon request. Machines are limited. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@lakemakerie.com for more info.
If you need to cancel later than 1 week before class is held, you will receive store credit.
