Class fee includes: Pattern ($36 value), curved safety pins, basting needle and thread.
You will also need: 1 5/8 yard of each of 2 fabrics >45” wide for front and back of quilt. Crib or Throw size batting (we recommend bamboo)
We have lots of beautiful choices for fabrics and threads and will be happy to make recommendations. We highly recommend pre-washing fabrics before coming to class, though this isn't absolutely necessary.
Before starting, consider what color scheme (if any) you intend to work in and what you want to emphasize to make the map “your own," then we’ll work together to get you started. This is a fun and collaborative class and you'll end up with basted “quilt sandwich” ready to hand-quilt at your own pace. This is a collaborative class so come prepared to make friends and work together!
We respectfully request that in-person class participants are vaccinated/boosted for Covid-19. We will not require proof of vaccination. Masking requirements is currently optional, but will be based on local case positivity rates when the class is held. Thanks for being flexible.
