Class: Sew a Quilted Oven Mitten (Beginner Friendly), May 14 (Saturday), 9:00-11:00 AM
Everybody needs a new oven mitten and there are so many beautiful fabrics to choose from. We'll quilt (either by hand or by machine) an insulated, fully lined oven mitt in your choice of fabrics to brighten your kitchen or to give as a gift (how many bottles of wine does a hostess really need?). You'll leave with a pattern and instructions to make many more! All materials included.
Supplies: This project takes 2 fat quarters (~ 1/2 yard ) of cotton or linen fabric, and coordinating thread. We will supply the insulated batting.
This is a beginner friendly project. A little sewing experience is helpful, but not necessary. We know you can do it!
