Class: Intro Machine Quilting with Grace

Join Grace Martin to learn several techniques to quilt your quilt tops with your home machine. You'll gain the confidence to finish your quilts yourself! Grace will teach straight-line quilting using a walking foot, decorative stitches, as well as her favorite technique -- free motion quilting. Grace's free motion quilting (FMQ) style uses free-form leaves and flowers for an all-over design that's fun, easy, and embraces the beauty of imperfections. If you're thinking of making a quilt coat this winter, This class is for you! 

Please bring your own machine so that Grace can give you tips for enjoying quilting at home as much as possible! If you need to reserve one of our machines please let us know in advance. There is an $8 charge for machine rental.

We will require a minimum of 4 registered students to hold the class. (If we do not hold the class you will be refunded). If you need to cancel later than 1 week before class is held, you will receive store credit.

We respectfully request that in-person class participants are vaccinated/boosted for Covid-19. We will not require proof of vaccination. Masking requirements is currently optional, but will be based on local case positivity rates when the class is held. Thanks for being flexible.
